Love is like the wind. It can't be seen but felt.

Was walking along to the computer lab near college nine and ten when I saw people hammering posts attached with pictures into the ground at a small grassy area. I didn't think much about it since I was in a hurry to get to the lab to do my work. When I came back, the whole area was covered with these posts and  with people looking and snapping away at the pictures with their camera phones. I decided to take a look myself and to my surprise these were pictures of the men and women that died serving in the Iraq War. I, too, wanted to document this moment.

From Terminator, to Governator, to Solarnator. Schwarzenegger is slowly gaining my respect and approval. He may be the first Republican to gain the acceptance of environmentalists. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6174042/ .

"These 40 pounds of cigarette butts were picked up on campus over a 20 day period in April 2004 by grounds services staff. Over a full year this could equate to over 700 pounds of non biodegradable garbage that detracts from the natural beauty of our campus and threatens the health and safety of all our common environment. If you smoke, please use designated smoking areas and dispose of butts properly. Thank you. This project conceived and undertaken by UCSC grounds services safety committee and built by Louis Dioszegi."

A pleasant reminder of our beautiful earth. Lets do our part to sustain it :
